KRASOVSKAYA ELENA PAVLOVNA

PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Winner of the VII All-Union Competition of Pianists named after D.B. Kabalevsky, Honorary Educational Servant of the Russian Federation.

E.P. Krasovskaya was born in Rostov-on-Don. She is a graduate of the piano department of the College of Arts. In 1989, she graduated with Honors from the Music Department of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after V.I. Lenin. After completing her studies, she continued working at the Department of Musical Instruments, where she rose from assistant to professor at the Department of Musical and Performing Arts at the Faculty of Musical Art of the Institute of Fine Arts of the Moscow Pedagogical State University (MPSU).

The academic degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences was awarded to E.P. Krasovskaya in 1997, the title of Associate Professor in 2003.

Since 2002, E.P. Krasovskaya has served as Deputy Dean for Academic and Methodological Work and Work with Foreign Students, she was a member of the Academic and Methodological Council of MPSU, Chairperson of the Academic and Methodological Council of the Music Faculty, Secretary of the Academic and Methodological Commission for Music at the Educational and Methodological Association of Universities of the Russian Federation for Pedagogical Education, the member of the Academic Council of the Music Faculty, and Academic Secretary of the Academic Council of the Institute of Fine Arts.

Since 2014, E.P. Krasovskaya has been a member of the Editorial Board of the scientific journal “Musical Art and Education” (section “Musical Performance and Education”).

Since 2019, E.P. Krasovskaya has been leading the instrumental section of the Department of Musical and Performing Arts of the Institute of Fine Arts of MPSU.
During her work, E. P. Krasovskaya published over 55 scientific and educational-methodical works, including: a textbook with the Stamp of the Ministry of Education “Theory and Methodology of Teaching Piano Playing”, a teaching aid “Problems of Formation in Musical Performance Activity”, 2 collective monographs, 15 articles in journals included in the “List of Leading Peer-Reviewed Publications of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation” and Scopus, anthologies for the school subject “Music”.

The scientific interests by E. P. Krasovskaya are concentrated in the field of psychology of musical performance activities, problems of interaction of arts, integrative pedagogy, methodology of a multi-contextual approach, theoretical and methodological aspects of piano training of students in the from the People’s Republic of China (PRC).

Along with her classes at the Music Faculty, E. P. Krasovskaya gives lectures and seminars at advanced training courses for music teachers working in the additional education system of various regions of Russia (Moscow, Naryan-Mar, Nefteyugansk, Saransk, Severodvinsk, Yakutsk).

E. P. Krasovskaya has given lectures and master classes at the Penza State University, the Charles University (Prague, Czech Republic), the Music Institute of Northeast Normal University (Changchun, PRC), and the Institute of Music and Cinema (Tianjin, PRC). Her contribution to the training of Chinese students was recognized by the presentation of a diploma of Visiting Professor of Northeast Normal University (PRC) in 2017.

Krasovskaya E. P. combines teaching with performing. She has performed solo programs in cities of Russia, Greece and the People’s Republic of China.
E. P. Krasovskaya has repeatedly taken part as a chairperson and jury member of domestic and international music festivals: Slavic Piano Music (Melitopol, 2007-2009), International Art Festival “Dove of Peace” (Moscow-London, 2014), “Silver Lyre” (Penza, 2017-2024), “Music of the 20th Century” (Moscow, 2010-2024), “Singing about Russia…” (Moscow, 2018, 2020, 2022, 2024).

E.P. Krasovskaya has trained 14 laureates of Russian and International instrumental performance competitions. Graduates of her class successfully work in the systems of music and music-pedagogical education in Russia and China.
