Nikolaeva Elena Vladimirovna

Born April 16, 1948 in Moscow.

Doctor of pedagogical sciences, Professor, Professor of Methodology and Technology of Music Education Pedagogy of the Fine Arts Institute of Moscow Pedagogical State University (MPGU), laureate of the Russian Federation in the field of education, Honorary Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation.

In 1972 she graduated from the Moscow Conservatory.

In 1986, she was awarded the degree of candidate of pedagogical sciences. In 2000 he defended his doctoral thesis in Pedagogy.

She is an author of more than 150 scientific and educational works. E. V. Nikolaeva is effectively engaged in scientific research and research training. As part of scientific direction established by her “History of music education as a science and as an academic subject” methodological foundations of historical and pedagogical research and teaching activities in the field of Music Education is being developed. A number of candidate theses were written and defended under her guidance. E. V. Nikolaeva is actively involved in the work of the Dissertation Council of the Institute of Fine Arts of Moscow Pedagogical State University.

Research interests: History, Theory and Methodology of Music Education, Pedagogy of Higher Education, Musicology, Theory of performance.
